For centuries brass instruments have been used to add pomp and majesty to a variety of settings, from the entrance of kings and queens to the sounding of the hunt. So prized were these brass musicians of yesteryear that royalty prohibited them from performing for the common man. Thankfully times have changed, but the splendor that brass instruments can lend to a ceremony or service remains as great as ever.
The Capitol Brass repertoire contains hundreds of selections with which we can customize your ceremony or service just the way you want. Click here for a partial repertoire list for you to consider. If you are unsure of the musical selections you might want, you need not worry because a member of the quintet will serve as your musical consultant to help you choose the music for your exceptional event.
The Capitol Brass can even provide music for a more informal event like a wedding reception or rehearsal dinner. We can change the mood in a hurry with swing tunes from the Big Band era, pretty ballads, or a tuneful Scott Jopin rag. The Capitol Brass Quintet was formed in 1990 and is comprised of professional musicians from Middle Tennessee.
